Stone Energy is committed to Quality and believes at its core, an efficient and effective Quality Management System is an essential ingredient in successful business operations across all business units. For this reason, Stone Energy has embarked on a Quality journey whereas a newfound emphasis has been placed on front-end “success” planning with its supply base. Within the last year and a half, Stone Energy has partnered with its critical drilling and completions equipment and service providers and put in-place numerous value-added Quality Plans to mitigate operational risks/failures with an ultimate goal in achieving operational excellence. In addition to Quality Plan development, Stone Energy’s Quality group has made numerous on-site visits so that a true Quality litmus test could be made to ensure the company’s supply base is capable of consistently meeting its needs.
Bottom-line results from the above efforts have played a significant role in Stone Energy achieving Zero Shop Quality related NPT events while drilling and/or completing its last three (3) deepwater wells. Stone Energy is pleased to recognize Bottom Hole Assurance for their valuable contribution i helping us achieve this milestone and ensuring supplier’s “Deliver as Advertised”.
