Our History
Serving the Oil & Gas Industry Since 1999.
Bottom Hole Assurance, Inc. (BHA) has been in serving the oil and gas industry since 1999; from then on, our customer base has grown substantially. Our management team has well over 100+ years of combined experience in a vast array of services in the oilfield. Over the years our customers have relied on BHA to be their SME (subject matter expert) in NDE depending on us to review procedures and processes. BHA provides non-destructive inspection services to the oilfield industry in the Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi Gulf Coast regions.
Our NDT services are based around quality and all processes follow our detailed operating procedures. Assisting this is a management group with the focus on complete customer satisfaction. All NDT personnel are certified to the latest ASNT SNT-TC-1A standards.

Dwayne Gary
President
Dwayne has been doing inspection for over 30 years, He started Bottom Hole Assurance in 1999. Since then he has strived to make his company second to none in quality of service and customer satisfaction. Dwayne is still very much involved with the operations at BHA and is always up to any challenge no matter how big or small.
Nicolas Ryan
Quality Manager
Nicolas has been with Bottom Hole Assurance since 2010. He started out as a helper and has worked his way up to being a valued member of management. He is MT, PT, UTT, and Rockwell Hardness certified. He has been working closely with our quality manager since 2013 and has completed an ISO 9001 internal auditor training course. Nicolas will soon be in pursuit of becoming an ASQ certified Quality Process Analyst.
Brock Gary
NDE Division Manager
Brock has been employed with Bottom Hole Assurance Inc. since 2008. He has been the NDE Division Manager for Bottom Hole Assurance Inc. since 2015. He quickly gained the knowledge needed to become a level II Inspector, which he accomplished in 2010. He is now certified in MT, PT, UTT, and Rockwell Hardness. Brock Gary is furthering his knowledge by studying to obtain his AWS CWI Certificate.
Brandon Prejean
Managing Partner
Brandon started his career in the oilfield with Drillco Inspection services in 1997 helping with pipe and field inspections and supporting the machine shop needs. In 1999 he started with Bottom Hole Assurance as a helper and quickly worked his way into a lead inspector role. In 2005 he started his role as Quality Manager and has since built a fully ISO 9001 compliant quality system. More recently he has dedicated his spare time to pursuing his ASNT Level III to help better the company and assist customers in audits or issues. In October of 2017 he received his ASNT Level III for MT certificate, more recently he received his ASNT Level III for PT in May of 2018 # 177619. His future goals are ASNT Level III UT and VT; along with ASQ CMQ/OE certification.
Scott Gary
Operations Manager
Scott Gary is Operations Manager for Bottom Hole Assurance Inc. He joined BHA in 2009 after spending 18 years in the manufacturing industry as a machinist and CNC programmer. This knowledge of machining processes aids in the training and support of our inspectors on manufacturing, and in service defects. He is Level II certified in MT, PT, UTT, and is responsible for day to day operations.
Competency Program
Being a service company, our most important product is our inspectors.
The more competent our employees, the better service we are able to provide to you the customer. Hiring an “experienced” hand and putting him in a truck on good faith is not something we are willing to risk at BHA.
BHA has an extensive competency program that our employees go through before they are ever allowed to conduct a critical process for our customers.
